Rammstein has responded to charges of sexual assault and drugged cocktails at backstage gatherings involving vocalist Till Lindemann. The statement, released in German, acknowledges the accusations and expresses gratitude to supporters who attended their recent European tour.
In 2023, Till Lindemann made headlines when numerous women accused him of engaging in sexual assault. Rammstein’s sold-out stadium tour has just concluded, and this hasn’t impacted their ticket sales. The band calls this tour a “healing act” in a statement.
Last year, Till Lindemann, the main vocalist of Rammstein, faced serious accusations of abuse. In a goodbye post titled “After the 2024 Tour” on both their official homepage and Instagram, the band responds to these claims. The Berlin public prosecutor’s office closed the inquiry in the summer of 2023 after Lindemann refuted every allegation.
The group thanks “all our fans, friends, and concert attendees” for their kindness, warmth, and inspiration throughout the trip. “Carried on a wave of emotions,” the band members rediscover their love of playing music and giving performances. Every show was a “healing act.”.
However, Rammstein has also been aggressively responding to the charges leveled against the band since last summer. Even though they take the situation seriously, they believe that much of it is exaggerated and unjustified. This internal process will accompany the musicians for an extended period.

According to Rammstein, they have played 135 concerts in five years, welcoming six million people. Although the “massive stadium tour” has ended, Rammstein’s adventure is far from over. The band is still traveling, though it’s not quite sure where it will end up.
The controversy surrounding Lindemann had no bearing on ticket sales. They hope to politically respond by developing a new code of conduct for businesses and organisations in the cultural sector as well as an anonymous advising service for victims of sexual violence in the music industry. Tim Zimmermann, the managing director of the Cultural Council, recently told the “Stern,” “A tour manager does not have the responsibility to arrange for his musicians to have sexual relations with young girls, even if it is consensual.”
